Linear Motion Slides
Ready-to-install Linear Motion Slides from Rexroth consist of two ball rails systems, a matching carriage, and end blocks for rapid and easy fastening to the mounting base. Linear Motion Slides can be supplied without drive or with integrated ball screw or toothed belt drive.
Particularly in automation and handling systems, ready-to-install linear modules often have significant advantages over self-made assemblies of individual components. The configuration of a linear module provides the user with a standard solution that has been proven many times over in practical duty.
The Omega Module from Rexroth is part of the Easy Handling modular system for handling systems. Omega modules are ready-to-install linear axes for all fitting positions in freely configurable lengths up to 5500 mm. Due to the design, omega modules are particularly suited for applications in which the main body moves into the working space.
The fully functional, ready-to-install compact modules from Rexroth, complete with drive unit and control system, simplify modern designs and expedite commissioning times. Application areas cover the entire medium and upper range for assembly and handling systems. The linear axes are driven optionally by ball screw, toothed belt or direct linear drive and feature high dynamics, load capacities and rigidities.
When a ball rail system and a ball screw are integrated within a compact frame, the result is a neat-sized but very powerful linear module. Miniaturized PSK Systems meet the speed and precision requirements of modern production machines. The internal runner blocks and carriages are driven by a precision ball screw with zero-clearance nut system. The units achieve travel speeds of up to 96 m/minute and a positioning repeatability of up to 0.005 mm. An extensive range of accessories is provided, including plate or strip covers, clamping fixtures for fastening, and a system for attachment of Hall sensors or Reed contacts and for cable ducting. All PSK models can be equipped with any of several motor-controller combinations.
With innovative bridge modules as cantilevered linear axes and single axes up to 5000 mm long, Rexroth has expanded its extensive range of linear and multiple axis systems. These novel modules are ideal for use as connecting axes in gantry solutions. They combine high stiffness with rapid feed and good positioning accuracy. The encapsulated linear systems come with ball screw or toothed belt drive. Also available as a plug and play unit, the module comprises a linear motion system, matched motor-controller combinations, and a control system.
The Feed Modules from Rexroth are suitable for using in handling applications as vertical axes or actuators. The complete linear units reduce the necessary drive power due to the smaller dead weight being moved and can achieve extremely precise, infinitely variable positions.
