About linear bushings and shaft

Linear bushings and shafting are popular in most industries, due to them offering a low-cost and low maintenance solution. Bushings are available in a wide range of sizes and styles to suit most applications. Standard bushings are very sturdy and have a long service life and are excellent, for example for use in woodworking machines. Standard bushings are offered with steel cages and also plastic cages

Super linear bushings are very smooth running, and are available with a self-alignment feature which can allow for alignment errors of up to 30’. There is a version of Super linear bushing which can take a very high load, while still offering the self-alignment feature.

Flanged bushings, centre flanged bushings, with the flange in the centre of the bushing are available.

Tandem and Tandem flanged bushings are also available as a standard item.

If cost and space is a consideration Compact and Segmental bushings can offer a low cost, highly effective solution.

Radial linear bearings can offer considerably higher load capacities, allowing space saving designs, also higher rigidity and smoother travel.

Standard, Compact, Segmental bushings and shafts are all made in corrosion resistant versions.

With Torque resistant linear bushings and shaft it is possible to obtain Axially and Radially true linear motion with just one shaft. Shaft is available with one or two grooves.
